Dipsy is a pretty special cat who came to us as a transfer from another shelter. Poor Dipsy had been found injured on the city streets. It appeared that he was likely hit by a car and was showing some neurological signs from head trauma. He’s been in foster care with us for several months and he’s now fully recovered. When he first came in, he was so frantic for food that tried to eat a paper plate and his vaccine vials. It was heartbreaking to see him so panicked for food.
This handsome, friendly, funny, boy is now ready for a home of his own. We believe he should be in an adult only home, or possibly a home with older children. He’s very sweet, but he has his limits and children don’t usually know how to read a cat’s signals. Dipsy gets along with the other cats in his foster home, and although he has not been dog tested, we think he would probably be fine with a dog that is laid back and accustomed to living with cats. He’s playful and charismatic and will surely keep you laughing.
Dipsy has been adopted! For other cats looking for new homes, please visit our Featured Felines page, see us at one of our Adoption Days, or contact us.
