Breed
Domestic Shorthair
Color
White and Orange
Gender
Male
Age
About 7 years (Adult)

RIGBY is a handsome, buff-colored, neutered male. He came to us after a rescue volunteer found him running down a very busy city street, lost, disoriented, and very hungry. When he arrived, he was overwhelmed and fearful. It took several months to break through his tough exterior, but once he began to trust, he warms up and enjoys when his foster mom greets him to pet him and scrub his chubby cheeks. He will lumber down from his kitty condo when his wet food is served - his favorite!

RIGBY is still a bit shy, so he needs a quiet, adult-only home, to take a chance on this sweet, (very) big, beautiful guy. He has been waiting many months, and he would love nothing more than for some kind soul to make him part of the family.

Although he tested positive for FIV, this does not mean that he will ever have compromised health. FIV can sometimes suppress the immune system, but most FIV cats live long, healthy, problem-free lives. RIGBY is a healthy boy, who could live with or without other cats. He gets along just fine with his foster siblings. He’d probably be fine with a tried and true, cat-friendly dog too. Please consider giving this deserving boy a chance.

Rigby has been adopted! For other cats looking for new homes, please visit our Featured Felines page, see us at one of our Adoption Days, or contact us.
